Is your connection steady?

Sends a small request to the chosen location at a fixed interval and charts every round trip. Use it to catch Wi‑Fi dropouts, bufferbloat or a flaky line. Failed requests count as loss.

Test files & iperf3

Plain HTTPS downloads for curl, wget or a browser. The files are all zeroes, so compression would skew the result; the servers never compress them.

iperf3

Both locations run public iperf3 servers on ports 5201–5205, TCP and UDP, IPv4 and IPv6. Each port takes one test at a time; if a port is busy, try the next one.

iperf3 -c ams.speedtest.bgp.rodeo -p 5201 # upload to Amsterdam
iperf3 -c ens.speedtest.bgp.rodeo -p 5202 -R # download from Enschede
iperf3 -c ens.speedtest.bgp.rodeo -p 5203 -P 8 -6 # 8 streams over IPv6
iperf3 -c ams.speedtest.bgp.rodeo -p 5204 -u -b 100M # UDP at 100 Mbit/s

Please keep tests short (the default 10 seconds is plenty) so others get a turn.

From a terminal

curl -o /dev/null https://ams.speedtest.bgp.rodeo/files/1GB.bin
curl -6 -o /dev/null https://ens.speedtest.bgp.rodeo/files/10GB.bin
wget -O /dev/null https://ens.speedtest.bgp.rodeo/files/1GB.bin

Both hostnames have IPv4 and IPv6; use -4 or -6 to pick one. Raw listings: Amsterdam, Enschede. librespeed-cli works too, with --server-json https://speedtest.bgp.rodeo/server-list.json.
